This Respona review covers the product as it is in October 2026, which is not the product most Respona reviews describe. Respona used to be outreach software: campaigns, an email finder, sequences and a shared inbox. It now sells placements. You order with your target URLs, anchor text and a publisher tier, Respona's team finds a site, writes a listicle, review or guest post, publishes it, and bills you $100 to $500 when the link is live. There is no software to run.
It is built for teams that want links and brand mentions delivered on a date without doing outreach, and it is strongest on exactly that: guaranteed delivery, a 28-day turnaround, bulk discounts up to 60%, and placements written to rank in both Google and AI answers. It is weakest where you need control: you don't pick the specific page, you don't see the outreach, and the publisher relationship stays with Respona.
We checked every price and claim on respona.com and its pricing page on October 21, 2026, and read the 202 reviews on G2. Disclosure: this review is written by GEOboom's team, which builds competing outreach software. We say so wherever it affects a judgement.
Respona at a glance
| What it is | Done-for-you link building and brand placement service, pay per live placement |
|---|---|
| Best for | SaaS and B2B teams, and agencies reselling link building, that want guaranteed placements with zero outreach work |
| Not ideal for | Teams that need to be on a specific existing page, want to run outreach themselves, or want to own publisher relationships |
| Starting price | $100 per placement (DR 20+); $500 at DR 60+; 10% off on a $3,000 monthly budget, 20% at $5,000, up to 60% at the top of the slider |
| Deployment | Web dashboard for ordering and tracking; no software to install or run |
| Contract | None pay-as-you-go; optional monthly budget for discounts |
| Turnaround | 28 days standard, 14 days express for a fee |
| Key strength | Every ordered placement is guaranteed to go live; content is written for search and AI answers |
| Main limitation | No control over which page or site; link formats, sites and conversations are Respona's call within your tier |
| Verdict | A reliable way to buy placements at volume. Not outreach software anymore, and not the tool for landing on the pages AI already cites. |
Respona pros and cons
Pros
- You pay only for live links. No retainer, no setup fee, no software subscription; the invoice follows the placement.
- Delivery is guaranteed. Respona's FAQ commits every ordered placement to go live within the agreed timeframe, 28 days by default.
- Content is written for AI answers, not just Google. Briefs come from AI deep research, humans edit, and you can request formats such as listicles and comparison guides that answer engines cite.
- Bulk pricing is steep in your favour. 10% off at $3,000 a month, 20% at $5,000, up to 60% at the top of the slider.
- Control over the parts that matter to SEO. You set anchors, target URLs, DR tier, content format, and for a fee pre-approve domains or restrict to ccTLDs.
- Built for resale. White-label support and an AI-visibility tracker across six engines come with the service.
Cons
- You don't choose the page. Respona finds publishers ranking for your keywords and writes a new article; you can't target an existing page that AI already cites.
- The outreach is invisible. No prospect list, no conversations, no publisher contact. If you leave, the relationships leave with you.
- The G2 rating is for a different product. 4.8/5 from 202 reviews describes the outreach software Respona no longer sells; the placement service has almost no independent reviews yet.
- Per-placement cost climbs fast with DR. $400 at DR 50+ and $500 at DR 60+ before discounts; pre-approval adds 20%, express delivery adds more.
- Nothing watches the placement afterwards. Links are sold as permanent, but there is no alert if the text, position or link changes; you find out when you check.
How Respona works
Respona describes the process in four steps on its home page and six in its pipeline section. Put together, this is how an order runs.
- You place the order. Create an account, add a row per landing page: the URL, the anchor text (optional), and the publisher quality tier (Starter DR 20+ to Elite DR 60+). Optionally add the AI prompts you want to be cited for. Respona says this takes about 30 seconds.

- Respona picks the publishers. Its team scrapes your pages to identify core keywords and themes, finds publishers ranking for those terms, and picks the term with the lowest competition and highest CPC and volume. You don't see this list. By default Respona chooses; for an extra fee you can pre-approve every domain or set rules such as specific ccTLDs.

- Respona writes the content. It studies the top-ranking pages to see what content type ranks, creates data-driven briefs using AI deep research, and has humans and AI write the article: a listicle, product review, comparison guide, contextual guest post or news piece, by your choice or Respona's. Every piece is optimised for search and AI answers.

- The placement goes live. Standard turnaround is 28 days, express is 14 days for a fee. You track status in the dashboard and are billed when the link is live. Placements are sold as permanent dofollow links.
- You watch AI visibility. A bundled tracker checks six AI engines for your chosen prompts, so you can see whether the new page starts getting cited.

Limits. There are no seats, mailboxes or campaign caps because there is no software to run. The practical limits are the ones in the tiers: publisher DR and monthly traffic bands, 28 or 14 days, and whatever your monthly budget unlocks on the discount slider. Respona says it only places on real sites with genuine traffic, commercially valuable rankings and topical relevance; no PBNs.
Respona features
Respona's features are the parts of a placement you can specify and the parts its team does for you. For each one: what it does, what it solves, where it stops, and how it compares with running outreach yourself in a tool like GEOboom.
Publisher selection by DR and traffic tier
What it does. Five tiers, each with a minimum Ahrefs DR and a monthly traffic band: Starter (DR 20+, 100–5k), Standard (DR 30+, 100–10k), Authority (DR 40+, 500–20k), Power (DR 50+, 1k–30k), Elite (DR 60+, 1k–100k). You pick the tier per landing page.
What it solves. Predictable site quality without vetting sites yourself.
Limits. The tier is the whole of your control over the site. You don't see candidates, and specific publications are not promised.
Compared. GEOboom shows you the prospect list, pulled from your AI-visibility tracker and filtered page by page, and lets you drop any site before outreach. Respona wins on effort; GEOboom on knowing where you'll land.
Keyword-driven prospecting
What it does. Respona scrapes your landing pages for core keywords, finds publishers ranking for those terms, and targets the term with the lowest competition and highest CPC and volume.
What it solves. Topical relevance without you building a keyword brief.
Limits. The target is a term, not a page. The placement is a new article built to rank for that term, which is different from being added to a page that already ranks or is already cited by AI.
Compared. GEOboom starts from the pages ChatGPT and Google AI Mode already cite for your prompts. If AI visibility is the goal, that is the shorter route; if you want a new ranking asset, Respona's is.

Content creation for search and AI answers
What it does. Respona studies the top-ranking pages for the chosen term, writes an AI deep-research brief, and has humans and AI produce the article. Formats: product review, listicle, contextual placement, news, comparison guide.
What it solves. You get a finished page without writing or briefing anyone.
Limits. Content quality is Respona's; you can set guidelines but don't review drafts unless you pay for pre-approval. The article lives on the publisher's site under their editorial control.
Compared. GEOboom doesn't write articles; the publisher edits their existing page and GEOboom drafts the blurb in the list's style. Different jobs: Respona builds a page, GEOboom gets you into one.
Anchors, URLs and content guidelines
What it does. You set the target URL and anchor text per order, choose or let Respona choose the content format, and can request specific formats such as listicles that LLMs cite.
What it solves. Keeps link equity pointed where you want it.
Limits. Anchor and URL are specified, not negotiated; the publisher's acceptance is Respona's problem, which is the point.
Compared. In GEOboom you negotiate anchor, position in the list and follow status with the editor yourself, with a drafted reply and the publisher's metrics on screen. More work, more control.

Domain approvals and ccTLD rules
What it does. For an extra 20%, every domain waits for your approval before placement, and you can set rules such as specific country TLDs.
What it solves. Market targeting and brand-safety sign-off for agencies with picky clients.
Limits. Paid add-on; still one site at a time rather than a list.
Compared. GEOboom's filtering is included and happens before you see the list; approval is implicit because you choose what to schedule.
Turnaround and guarantee
What it does. 28 days standard, 14 days express for a fee. Every ordered placement is guaranteed to go live within the agreed timeframe; placements are sold as permanent dofollow links.
What it solves. Planning and client reporting against a date.
Limits. The guarantee is on delivery, not on position, traffic or AI citations. Respona's FAQ doesn't describe what happens if a live placement is later changed.
Compared. GEOboom makes no delivery promise because a publisher can decline; it does monitor the agreed text, position, link, anchor and nofollow afterwards and drafts a note when something moves. Pick the guarantee you need.

AI-visibility tracking
What it does. Bundled tracker across six AI engines for the prompts you specify, so you can see whether the new page starts being cited.
What it solves. Proof for clients that the placement reached AI answers.
Limits. Tracks outcomes, not the placement itself.
Compared. GEOboom reads from your own AI-visibility tracker rather than bundling one, and uses it as the prospect source rather than only as a report.

White label and reselling
What it does. Respona's own blog says about 80% of its customers are agency resellers; the service supports white-label delivery with no retainer or setup fee.
What it solves. Agencies sell placements under their own brand with per-link margins.
Limits. Per-client orders; discounts are on your total monthly budget, not per client.
Compared. GEOboom is one subscription with unlimited projects and users, but the agency's team runs the outreach; margin comes from labour saved rather than markup on a placement.
What Respona no longer offers
The outreach software is gone: no campaign builder, no email finder, no sequences, no shared inbox. If you came to this Respona review looking for those, see the alternatives section.
Respona pricing
Respona pricing is pay-per-result: one price per placement, set by the publisher's Domain Rating and traffic, with a discount that grows with your monthly budget. There is no subscription fee, no seat pricing and no contract on pay-as-you-go. Prices below were read from respona.com/pricing on October 21, 2026.
| Tier | Publisher DR | Publisher monthly traffic | Per placement |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 20+ | 100–5k | $100 |
| Standard | 30+ | 100–10k | $160 |
| Authority | 40+ | 500–20k | $240 |
| Power | 50+ | 1k–30k | $400 |
| Elite | 60+ | 1k–100k | $500 |

What's included in the price. Content, outreach and publishing. You control anchors, URLs and custom requirements.
Subscribe and Save. Commit to a monthly budget and every tier gets cheaper. The slider runs from $3,000 to $80,000 a month. Respona's FAQ gives two points and the ceiling: 10% off at $3,000 ($90 / $144 / $216 / $360 / $450), 20% at $5,000 ($80 / $128 / $192 / $320 / $400), and up to 60% at the highest monthly spend.
Add-ons. Express delivery in 14 days instead of 28 for an additional fee; domain pre-approval and ccTLD rules at +20% on the per-placement model.
Trial and refunds. No free trial in the software sense; you create an account and place an order. Billing follows the live link, so there is nothing to refund before delivery.
Is Respona pricing transparent? Yes, the clearest in this category: five numbers, one slider, two add-ons. The one thing to confirm before a large order is the exact discount between the $5,000 and $80,000 marks, which the page shows interactively rather than as a table.
Which tier for whom. Starter and Standard for volume and for brands whose own DR is low; the DR 40+ tier is the common middle for B2B SaaS; Power and Elite when a client is paying for authority and you need the white-label report to show DR 50+. If you'll order more than about ten placements a month, the $3,000 budget pays for itself in the first discount.
What Respona doesn't charge for, and what you pay elsewhere. Publisher fees are inside the price; there is no separate invoice from the site. What isn't covered is any outreach you run yourself for pages Respona won't place on, and any monitoring after the link goes live.
Respona reviews and market feedback
Respona holds 4.8/5 from 202 reviews on G2, and its site quotes the same figure. The caveat matters more than the number: the reviews describe the outreach software Respona used to sell. They praise campaigns, sequences, the built-in email finder and verification, AI personalisation, the shared inbox and responsive support; they complain about credits burning fast, price for small teams, a learning curve in campaign setup, outdated contact data and no mobile app. Most reviews are from 2024 and 2025; only a handful are from 2026, and none describe ordering a placement.
For the current service, the independent signal is thin. Respona's site reports a "High Momentum Leader" badge on G2 and shows an InVideo case study. Third-party roundups that mention the placement service (including ours) work from Respona's own published terms: the delivery guarantee, the 28-day turnaround, the DR tiers and the bulk discounts.

If you're deciding on Respona today, weigh the G2 score as evidence that the company supports customers well, not as evidence about placement quality. For that, order a small batch at the tier you'd use and check the pages.
Respona alternatives
The short version, grouped by what you're replacing; the long one is in our roundup of AI link-building and outreach software.
- GEOboom: outreach software for the same goal by the opposite route. It pulls the pages your AI-visibility tracker says are cited, finds the editor, sends from mailboxes it provides, drafts your replies and monitors the mention; $150/mo plus whatever you pay publishers. The pick if you want to land on specific cited pages and keep the relationships.
- FATJOE: the closest like-for-like replacement for the placement service. Blogger Outreach from $72 (DR 10+) to $456 (DR 60+) with a dofollow link, Brand Mentions at $336 on DR 30+, lifetime guarantee, white label. Side by side in FATJOE vs GEOboom.
- Pitchbox: if you miss Respona's software. The deepest campaign builder in link building, with an AI reply agent; $300/mo on a one-year contract. Side by side in Pitchbox vs GEOboom.
- BuzzStream: a contract-free outreach CRM from $49/mo for teams with their own lists and mailboxes. Side by side in BuzzStream vs GEOboom.
- MentionAgent: mutual mention swaps on a single site, $99/mo, inbox included.
Respona vs GEOboom
The two take opposite routes to the same outcome. Three facts that decide it:
- Who picks the page. Respona finds a publisher ranking for your keyword and writes a new article. GEOboom starts from the pages AI answers already cite for your prompts and gets you added to them.
- Who pays the publisher and how. Respona's price includes everything. GEOboom leaves you to pay sites directly at no fee, or pays them for you through Buy for you at 30% (minimum $40) with 12-month placement protection.
- What you see. Respona shows order status and live links. GEOboom shows the prospect list, every reply with the publisher's metrics, and a deal record it keeps checking.
At five DR 40+ placements a month, GEOboom works out at about $155 a placement if you pay publishers yourself and $195 through Buy for you, against $240 on Respona pay-as-you-go. Full breakdown, worked example and scoring in Respona alternatives.
Who should use Respona, and who should look elsewhere
Respona is a good fit if:
- you want a known number of links or brand mentions by a date and have nobody to run outreach;
- you resell link building and need a white-label supplier with no retainer;
- you're buying at volume and the budget discount (up to 60%) moves your margin;
- a new, well-written article on a relevant DR 40+ site is as good for your goal as a mention on an existing one;
- you want to pay only for live links.
You may need an alternative if:
- you need to be on a particular page, for example one ChatGPT already cites for your category;
- you want to see the prospect list and the conversations, or keep the publisher relationships when you leave;
- you came for the outreach software: campaigns, finder, sequences, inbox. That product is gone;
- you need to know when a placement's text, position or link changes after it goes live;
- your budget is under $500 a month, where a single Power placement costs as much as a month of outreach software.
Is Respona worth it? For buying placements, yes, if the tier matches your authority and you'd otherwise pay an agency a retainer for the same thing. For AI visibility specifically, it depends on whether a new article is what you need or a mention on a page that's already cited.
FAQ
What is Respona?
Respona is a done-for-you link building and brand placement service. You order placements by publisher tier, Respona's team finds the site, writes the article and publishes it, and you pay when the link is live. It used to be outreach software; that product was retired in favour of the placement service.
How much does Respona cost?
$100 per placement at DR 20+, $160 at DR 30+, $240 at DR 40+, $400 at DR 50+ and $500 at DR 60+. A monthly budget earns a discount: 10% at $3,000, 20% at $5,000, up to 60% at the top of the slider. Express delivery and domain pre-approval cost extra. Prices as of October 2026.
Is Respona safe to use?
For your domain, yes: Respona sends from its own infrastructure, so your company email never sends a cold pitch. For SEO, Respona says it places only on real sites with genuine traffic and topical relevance and no PBNs; the usual caution with any paid placement applies, which is that sites selling many posts leave a footprint. Respona's domain pre-approval add-on exists for teams that want to check each site first.
Is Respona still outreach software?
No. Its site sells placements only. The campaigns, email finder, sequences and shared inbox that the G2 reviews describe are no longer offered. Teams that need those should look at Pitchbox, BuzzStream or GEOboom.
What is the difference between Respona and GEOboom?
Respona builds a new page for you on a site it chooses and bills per live link. GEOboom is software that gets your brand onto existing pages AI answers already cite: it finds the editor, sends from its own mailboxes, drafts your replies and monitors the mention; you close the deal.
Is Respona worth it?
If you want placements delivered without running outreach and the tier matches your site's authority, yes. If you need a specific page, control over the conversation, or outreach software, no.
Does Respona guarantee results?
It guarantees that every ordered placement goes live within the agreed timeframe and that the link is permanent dofollow. It does not guarantee rankings, traffic or AI citations; the bundled tracker lets you watch for the last of those.
How this review was prepared
Who wrote it. Oleksii Andrusenko runs GrowPad, an SEO and GEO agency, and co-founded GEOboom after GrowPad's clients kept asking to get into ChatGPT. GEOboom competes with Respona; this review says so wherever it affects a judgement and lists the cases where Respona is the better choice.
What we checked. Respona's home page, pricing page and pricing FAQ on October 21, 2026, including the four-step order flow, the six-step pipeline, the five tiers, the budget slider, the add-ons and the guarantee wording. Respona's own blog for the reseller share and white-label terms. The 202 Respona reviews on G2 as of October 21, 2026, read for recurring themes and for whether they describe the current product.
What we didn't do. We did not place a paid order for this review; placement quality is described from Respona's published terms, not from pages we received. Reply, ranking or citation outcomes quoted for any tool are the vendor's own figures. The cost-per-placement figures in the GEOboom section carry the assumptions of the full comparison: five placements a month, and a $120 publisher fee — the median paid quote from the DR 40–50 publishers who have replied to our own outreach with a price, 10 of them as of October 2026.
How we judge tools. On the seven steps that decide whether outreach produces a link: where the pages come from, whether the list is filtered and visible, which contact is found, whose mailboxes send, how follow-ups run, what arrives with a reply, and what is monitored afterwards. For a done-for-you service several steps are invisible by design; we note that rather than score it down.
